Digital, solvent and screen printing: which one suits you?
There are three common ways to print a company name, logo or pattern on a mud flap. Each has a different strength.
Digital print
It is photo quality and full colour. It is ideal for detailed logos, gradient colours and one-off custom designs, and is practical for small quantities.
Solvent print
An ink resistant to outdoor conditions is used; it is preferred for products constantly exposed to rain, sun and road conditions.
Screen print
A separate screen is prepared for each colour, so it needs preparation at the start; however, it lowers the unit cost for large quantities. It suits fleet orders.
Which should I choose?
- Small quantity, multi-colour design: digital
- If resistance to outdoor conditions is the priority: solvent
- Large quantity, simple-colour jobs: screen print
